  • The Webmaster writes: "For a very long time, I have lamented the fact that there is so little material available concerning the life and ministry of Augustus Toplady on the Internet. All I have found are several links to a relatively small selection of his various writings. Most of what is available centers around his most well-known hymn, namely "Rock of Ages". Toplady contributed much more than that to 'vital' Christianity. Someone has once said that "all the theology most people know is obtained from the hymns that they sing."   • Fourteen of John Calvin's OT commentaries.  Even Calvin's staunchest opponents recognized the great gift God had given to him: "After the reading of Scripture, which I strenuously inculcate, and more than any other ... I recommend that the Commentaries of Calvin be read ...   • One of the best sites I have found to help those with grieving hearts.  Resources not only for those who grieve, but for anyone struggling with trusting the Lord through difficult trials.
    The site is run by Greg and Nan Wright, in memory of their son Steve Wright, who died in an accident in 2001.  They write:
    "They seem so far away now, the ones we love, beyond our touch and beyond any means for them to touch and comfort us. Now it is up to us to comfort one another. The following sermons were very helpful to Nan and me during our time of grief. While dealing realistically with the pain, they faithfully embrace the comfort of Jesus Christ, the sovereignty of God, and the time tested merit of unconditional trust in Him."
